This fun use of layers in Flash MX is a neat way to graphically merge irregular shapes. The horizontal position of the mouse controls globual cohesion. The vertical position of the mouse controls globual size. Similar in approach with the Reactive Object, Oily Stratum expands the idea to allow direct user control of the shape shifting object.                     jtarbell, february 2003
